Description
The first day we start walking 19 km, to the basecamp before reaching the peak. The Second day we walk 5 km, be on the top of the Pico Duarte and go back to the base camp. The Third day we will go down and out of the park. This trip include: Mountain guides Entrance to J. Armando Bermúdez park Pack Mules Emergency Mule Meals ( 3 Breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 dinners) Transportation Campfires Tent houses (optional you can also sleep in the camp house) We suggest bring two backpack (A little one for the path, and another one for the camp that the mules will carry it). List of needs In a backpack or package to go on the pack mule: -Change of clothes (Comfortable clothes) -Personal hygiene utensils. -Towel and swimsuit. -Coat -Plate, glass and cutlery -Sleeping bag or cork -Personal medications -Flashlight -Cover to cover your bag or backpack. (In case of rain) -Extra boots -Cup - Appetizers Backpack Tour: -Water thermos -Sandwich -Sweets -Large black poncho or cover -Sun protection: glasses, hats, sunscreen.
