Description

Immerse yourself in an exhilarating journey through the lush landscapes of Puerto Plata with this unforgettable tour to the Damajagua Waterfalls, tailored especially for those arriving by cruise. Begin with a trek through verdant forest trails where vibrant plants and forest sounds surround you. Cross rustic wooden bridges and ascend a rocky incline until you reach the top of the falls. From there, the real fun starts: slide, swim, and if you dare, take jumps from natural ledges into crystalline pools below. Some jumps reach heights of up to 8 meters (approximately 25 feet), though for those uneasy at heights, alternate routes exist so everyone can participate. The number of waterfalls you’ll explore depends on the season — sometimes you’ll visit all 27 cascades, other times just 12. After your adrenaline-filled descent via slides, plunges, and river swims, enjoy an authentic Dominican lunch, prepared in the local style. Once nourished, the tour wraps up with returns to your accommodation or cruise port — leaving you with dusty shoes, wet clothes, a big grin, and lasting memories.
