STINGRAY BAY & CARIBBEAN FESTIVAL

Admire the most amazing scenery of the coastline while cruising on a large two floor catamaran. This fantastic mix of fun and adventure provides a completely different and entertaining experience including a visit to “Stingray Bay”, a vast enclosure in the middle of the sea, a private and exclusive floating aquarium where swimmers will get an adrenaline shot by swimming with nurse sharks and by experiencing close encounters with the stingrays. During the interaction swimmers will learn some awesome facts about these docile animals while petting them on their backs and bellies, while standing in waist deep water, or on a comfortable stingray interaction platform.

After this experience, swimmers can enjoy snorkeling and observing the many tropical fish around the coral reefs of Punta Cana. Later the boat comes alive with the Caribbean music and dances of the Dominican Carnival. The staff can even teach Caribbean style dancing.

SAILING ADVENTURE (ADULTS ONLY)

A truly unique sailing experience is the SAILING ADVENTURE, which combines a comfortable catamaran cruise with fun water activities.

After boarding the SAILING CATAMARAN, it sets sail for locations all along the amazing Bavaro coastline in an excursion that will last approximately 4:30 hours.

During the excursion, the boat will stop at an unspoiled natural reef where colorful fish and marvelous coral formations in pristine water provide a spectacular experience. Back on board, the bar is open for everyone. After another short navigation, the boat stops at the Natural Pool, a protected sand bank, where the most spectacular ocean view of Punta Cana can be enjoyed while standing in chest deep water. Here, a variety of fun and engaging games will be played, and a great open bar service is available. After the Natural Pool visit, the excursion continues as the boat takes everyone to a private beach where a great Asian/Thai food buffet will be available to complete the experience in an unforgettable atmosphere complete with a DJ.

OCEAN SPA DR FISH (ADULTS ONLY)

This unique three hour excursion is designed to provide extreme relaxation in a very exclusive setting. The double deck boat is designed to be a cruising spa, and has limited capacity in order to provide personalized attention.

Bio-pilates exercises are available during the cruise on the calm and colorful waters of Punta Cana. The Bio-Pilate Class, under the professional guidance of qualified instructors, focuses on a variety of stretching and breathing exercises. This class takes place on the second deck of the catamaran, which offers a spectacular view of the Bavaro-Punta Cana coast. Individual massage treatments are also available for maximum relaxation. These massages are offered in private cubicles with an ocean view, and include head massage, full back massage, foot massage and some stretching. A special massage and a relaxation session can also be enjoyed on a floating mattresses in the natural pool.

Ocean Spa Dr Fish also offers an Ionic Detox foot treatment. An ionic foot detox machine is a modern energy therapy device that balances the body's natural energy system. By introducing a high level of negative ions into the water of a foot bath, and by utilizing the principles of reflexology and the science of ionization and osmosis, a positive cellular environment is created, and this enables the body's natural detoxification processes to function at their peak.

The last and most remarkable treatment is the world famous Dr. Fish Pedicure. The treatment consists of small fish called Garra Rufa, that, thanks to an enzyme in their mouth, remove dead skin from the feet. This helps to regenerate new cells, leaving the skin healthy and clean. These fish were used for the first time at the Kangal Hot Springs, in the Turkish province of Sivas. This treatment was first prescribed for those suffering from psoriasis of the feet, but it quickly spread and was successfully adopted in spas and hot springs in China and Korea.

Throughout the whole excursion, natural juices and fresh fruits will be served, as well as natural herb infusions. Towards the end of the excursion, during a time of relaxation, sandwiches and salads accompanied by glasses of chilled white wine will be offered.
