Located just half an hour drive from Bávaro-Punta Cana area, The Altagracia's Museum is a unique and privileged place to gain knowledge of the Dominican identity. It's heritage includes a collection of historical, artistic, popular and sacred objects from the XVII thru XX centuries.

The collection allows visitors to come into contact with traditions and customs that remain alive in the country to this day.

The Museum provides a history and understanding of the passion of the people have for their protector, The Virgin of The Altagracia.

Standing out from the collection are The Medallions's Series. Sixteen oils on wood created in the XVII century; unique testimony from the colonial period of the Dominican Republic.
