Description
Depart at 9:00 AM aboard the Quetzal, a comfortable sailing catamaran, for a day trip to Catalina Island. After an hour navigating the Caribbean coast, arrive around 10:00 AM at Catalina Island’s first snorkeling spot, 'The Wall,' known for colorful corals and tropical fish. Spend about 30 minutes snorkeling here.
Next, the boat cruises to the opposite side of Catalina Island to 'The Aquarium,' a shallow reef ideal for a second snorkeling session lasting about 45 minutes.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board featuring salads, pasta, chicken, beef, fruits, and rosé wine while relaxing on deck.
After lunch, you have 30 to 45 minutes of free time to snorkel again, swim, jump off the boat, or visit Catalina’s pristine beach.
At around 2:30 PM, sail along Casa de Campo’s coastline with commentary from the national guide about the area’s history and celebrity residences.
Finish the day with a peaceful cruise up the Chavón River, surrounded by tropical landscapes and jungle cliffs, before returning to Bayahibe at approximately 5:00 PM.
