Description
After hotel pickup, travel to the Damajagua Waterfalls where limestone pools with stalactites and stalagmites await. You will meet local guides and receive a life jacket, helmet, and water shoes. Bring only waterproof cameras if you want photo opportunities during the tour.
The tour begins with a moderate 45-minute uphill hike through jungle terrain to the 12th waterfall. Then, you travel back downriver by jumping, sliding, and swimming through waterfalls, canyons, and pools. Jumps of up to 25 feet (8 meters) are included, with an alternative route available if you prefer not to jump.
The tour concludes with changing into dry clothes followed by a lunch buffet featuring local fish dishes.
