Skip the crowded Punta Cana marinas and sail Miches — the Dominican Republic's still-untouched east coast — on an afternoon catamaran departing daily at 2 PM, timed so you cruise back along the shoreline as the light turns golden. Leave from Miches beach and head out to Media Luna, a crescent-shaped natural pool that forms in the open sea, where you'll stop to snorkel with gear provided for every guest. After the swim, continue along the panoramic Miches coastline — mountains on one side, turquoise Caribbean on the other — with Dominican rum, local beer, soft drinks, fruit skewers, and mixed nuts served on board, and music setting the pace.
