For about six hours, you'll travel from your hotel to the Macao area to begin a night adventure designed for those who want to experience something different during their visit to the Dominican Republic. Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel, approximately between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Once at the park, you'll receive instructions from your tour guide before the adventure begins. Then, get ready to hop into a dune buggy and drive for an hour along private off-road trails as the Dominican landscape begins to transform with the arrival of nightfall. It's a combination of adrenaline, nature, and fun in the heart of the Punta Cana countryside. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older. After the adventure on wheels, you'll travel back in time to visit a recreation of a Taíno village and enjoy a cultural presentation where you'll learn about some of the traditions and customs of the island's ancient inhabitants. The experience includes a reenactment of the cacique and ancestral dances. The next stop is dedicated to the flavors of the Dominican Republic. You'll take part in a food tasting of traditional and organic products, such as coffee, chocolate, tea, and mamajuana, discovering some of the traditional methods of local processing and production. When night falls, one of the most special moments of the experience will arrive: the Iguanaboina underground cenote. You'll be able to cool off and swim in its crystal-clear waters while enjoying a unique atmosphere with a live DJ inside the cave. This is the perfect time to relax, have fun, and enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary tropical experience. After the cenote, you'll enjoy a typical Dominican dinner, prepared so that you can taste the authentic flavors of local cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The evening ends with a high-energy show: a Mardi Gras-style Caribbean carnival, complete with music, dancing, entertainment, and drinks included. It's the perfect finale to an evening that combines adventure, culture, cuisine, and partying.
