Under expert supervision, you'll jump into natural pools and glide down natural rock slides carved by water over centuries. But the experience doesn't end there. To set us apart, we'll take you to the productive heart of our region. We'll visit a tobacco workshop where you'll see master craftsmen rolling cigars by hand, a centuries-old tradition. We'll enjoy a typical Dominican 'country-style' lunch at a local farm. Finally, we'll round off the day in Plaza Independencia in Puerto Plata, getting to know the Cathedral and the stories that make this city the 'Bride of the Atlantic.' - Minimum age to participate: 8 years old. Not suitable for people with recent surgeries, heart or back problems, or for pregnant women. You'll need to be in moderate physical condition for the initial 40-minute walk through the forest. Wearing a life jacket and helmet is mandatory and included.
