Description

Your day in paradise starts with a very early morning pick-up from your hotel. We'll travel northwest through breathtaking scenery to the picturesque fishing village of Punta Rucia, the starting point of our aquatic adventure. There, you'll board a speedboat that will take you across the Atlantic Ocean to one of the best-kept gems in the Caribbean: Cayo Arena. Upon arrival, you'll be blown away by a bright white sandbar surrounded by turquoise waters so clear you can see the bottom. For the next 3 hours, you'll have plenty of time to relax, sunbathe, and most importantly, snorkel. We'll provide all the gear you need to explore the coral reef that surrounds the island, home to countless vibrantly colored tropical fish. While on the island, enjoy refreshing drinks to stay hydrated. After your time on the key, we'll head back to the speedboat to explore the lush canals of the Mangrove National Park, a vital ecosystem full of wildlife. Finally, we'll head back to the mainland to enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch with authentic Dominican flavors, including a variety of meats, rice dishes, and fresh salads. With a full stomach and a happy heart, we'll head back to your hotel.

If the tour is canceled or rescheduled due to bad weather or sea conditions, you'll be offered the option of an alternative date or a full refund. IMPORTANT - SEASONAL SCHEDULE: High Season (December to April): The tour runs from Monday to Saturday. Low Season (May to November): The tour only runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please note that Cayo Arena is a sandbank with no natural shade, so using sunscreen is essential for your well-being.
