Begin with a scenic 3-hour and 30-minute drive through the majestic Northern Mountain Range. Make a 15-minute rest stop along the way where you can enjoy coffee, water, or refreshments. Upon arrival at the riverside ranch in Jarabacoa, be welcomed with fresh coffee and water. Gear up with professional rafting suits and safety equipment. Once ready, board an open-air safari truck for an exciting ride to the highest point of the Yaque del Norte River, the longest in the Caribbean. At the launch point, receive a comprehensive safety briefing from certified rafting experts, teaching you the essential 'do’s and don’ts' for navigating the rapids. Spend approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes conquering Class II and III rapids, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. After the river adventure, return to the ranch to enjoy a well-deserved, authentic Dominican buffet lunch. - Health & Safety Requirements: This activity includes Class II–III rapids and moderate physical effort. It is not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart problems, back or neck injuries, or recent surgeries. Participants must be 12 years or older and in good physical condition. Footwear Policy: You must wear secure footwear such as water shoes or lace-up sneakers. Flip-flops, sandals, and Crocs are not allowed due to safety risks on wet rocks and strong currents. Cruise Guests (Amber Cove & Taino Bay): Meeting point is the main entrance gate outside the port. Allow about 15 minutes walking from the pier. Our driver will hold an “Adren Trip” sign. Minimum Participants: Minimum 3 people required, or you will receive a new date or full refund. Bring: towel, dry clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent.
