Description

Embark on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Catalina Island, one of the Dominican Republic’s premier diving destinations. After pickup from your Uvero Alto hotel, travel to the marina where your friendly crew and PADI-certified dive team welcome you aboard. Enjoy a brief safety orientation before setting out toward the turquoise waters of the Caribbean for your first dive. Your initial stop is “The Wall”, located on the east side of Catalina Island, where depths range from 5 to 40 meters (16–131 ft). Explore an underwater paradise filled with colorful coral, sea sponges, lionfish, seahorses, and stingrays. Then head to your second dive site, “The Aquarium,” famous for its crystal-clear visibility and abundance of tropical fish and marine creatures. After the diving and snorkeling sessions, unwind on a private beach on Catalina Island. Savor a Dominican buffet lunch prepared by a local chef, and the open bar throughout the day. Spend the afternoon swimming, sunbathing, or snorkeling in the island’s calm waters while island rhythms play in the background. As the day winds down, enjoy light refreshments and music aboard the boat as you cruise back to the marina, where your driver awaits to return you to your hotel.
