Founded by the Spaniards over 500 years ago, Santo Domingo is home to the first university, cathedral, castle, monastery and fortress in the New World. The city’s Zona Colonial has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Join us for a full day (10 hours) of historical and cultural discovery of the vibrant capital of Santo Domingo. Located about 200 km from the white-sand beaches of Punta Cana (3 hour drive), this Santo Domingo sightseeing tour is a must for anyone visiting the Dominican Republic. It’s a perfect day-trip for families with children, couples, friends and solo travellers alike. This excursion with an experienced guide will include the city’s top attractions.
