Description

Saona Island is a tropical island located off the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Sea. It is the island's most popular tourist destination and the best-selling sightseeing tour, thanks to its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, coral reefs, and beautiful natural landscapes. The tour starts from La Romana, leaving from the Chavon River, with a brief stop in the most exclusive neighborhood on the island (Casa de Campo). Then we will take a break with plenty of entertainment at the natural pool of Palmilla Beach with crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea (always accompanied by cocktails and beers). We will continue on to Saona Island, where we will visit the first beach and enjoy a barbecue buffet lunch. After lunch, we will take advantage of the first white sand beach in the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The third stop will be in the village of Mano Juan (a fishing village on Saona Island, home to the Cupanama aborigines, and the Mano Juan National Park is named after it), where we will visit a Sea Turtle Sanctuary (the most important sea turtle sanctuary in the Dominican Republic, where the caretakers are dedicated to saving the lives of these creatures, while offering tourists an incredible experience)
