The tour begins at Las Ruinas de San Francisco, on a historical and architectural journey that begins in 1492 with the arrival of the Spanish to the American continent, and ends in front of the Puerta del Conde, next to the statue of Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó, in the historical context of the April Revolution of 1965.
We will take a tour of each important part of the history of the first city in America. The architecture, the invasions, the devastations, the independence and the cultural, social and political growth of the island.
Our tour guide: Gaudy Mercy, is a local artist, well-known in the world of Hip Hop music and culture.
Being a historian for over 15 years, she finds a great passion in sharing her knowledge on this tour, while also learning about other cultures.
