Description

Begin at the meeting point in Jarabacoa, where you’ll be welcomed by your experienced guide and equipped with helmets, harnesses, and other safety gear. After a thorough briefing, head into the valley, following trails through forest and alongside the riverbanks until you arrive at a canyon system carved by the Jimenoa. Descend into narrower canyon walls, strapped in and ready to navigate natural rock slides, pools, and terraces. Next comes the highlight: rappel down a majestic waterfall of about 30 meters while feeling the rush of water beside you, and then cool off with a swim beneath the cascade in a natural pool. The guides will accompany you throughout, ensuring safety, giving tips on technique, and helping you enjoy the raw beauty of the surroundings. After the descent, enjoy a relaxed return hike through nature as you reflect on the adventure and soak in the scenery of Jarabacoa.
