Embark on a 6-7 hours adventure to the Damajagua Waterfalls and the Dominican countryside. Start your day with a pickup from your hotel or crusie ship terminal and head to the Damajagua Waterfalls. Hike through the jungle to reach the waterfalls and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. Here you'll wade in shallow water, swim where it's a little deeper, slide down rock slides and, if you feel like it, jump off water cascades. Don't worry about your safety - you'll be provided with a helmet and life jacket, and watchful instructors will look after you. You don't have to be a good swimmer to enjoy this attraction - it's just important not to be afraid of the water. Damajagua Falls is one of the most emblematic sites of the Dominican Republic! Afterward, head to a traditional cocoa growing area and explore the cacao tree plantation. Learn about the process of making chocolate in an organic chocolate manufactory and taste some of the delicious chocolate and other organic cocoa products.
