Akon's Jewel Punta Cana is a brand new 'jewel' set on the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic.
The 10,000 square foot super club opened on December 13, 2012 but was last May 25, 2013 when AKON inaugurated his new super club.
The five-time Grammy Nominated, International Multi-platinum Recording Artist & Producer AKON has choosen the Dominican Republic to open this superb club.
It features three floors of entertainment space and the best and newest technology. The club consists of four areas including the main dance floor; the 'Retro Techno' room, a glassed-in room that looks down over the main dance floor; a balcony on the second floor that is reserved for VIPs; and a relaxing roof-top outdoor terrace that affords views of the nearby hotels, golf courses and the beach.
The state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment includes 100,000 watts of exhilarating sound, 315,000 LEDs, seven 3.5 watt lasers, 60 Elation robotic heads, and twelve LED Cryo Blaster Cannons.
